19's on the type r

Does anybody know the tyre size on the 19 inch type r wheels??

on the 18" they are 225x40

which makes the total tyre height to be 18" (44.28cm) + 2*(225mm*40%)

= 18" + 180mm
= 44.28 + 18
= 62.28cm

so - given that the 19" must have the same overall hieght, and assuming it is still 225 wide...

= 62.28 - 19"
= 62.28 - 46.74
= 15.54 (= 2 * height of tyre wall)
= 7.77 per tyre wall

7.77 as a % of 225
= 35%

therfore, ispo facto, hey presto...

I'm gonna stick my neck out and predict that the 19" wheels will come with 225/35 tyres

I have 19" on my own. It is with 235/35 so I assume it would be the same for the Type-R
