First grands worth of mods for an EP3

I know a fair number of you have had an ep3 before (me included), but what's the best way of spending the first grand on modding it?
I want to keep a fairly oem look and sound (within reason).
My thoughts are....
B pipe, 2.5" silenced
Camber bolts (front)
Camber arms (rear)
Tegiwa induction or mugen box
Springs / coil overs

Comments welcome

This will blow a grand easily, though food for thought anyway

B-pipe (supersprint?) - keep OEM backbox
Manifold (DC Sports?) - JDM ARB required?
Hondata Kpro - run a base map
Hondata airbox mod - FOC
Do-luck dropin airfilter or similar - foam types are less restrictive than paper elements

Then save for RBC, heat shield gaskets & silicon intake hose. Plus mapping

Best thing I ever did on my EP3 were camber bolts and arms plus setup.
Closely followed by K-Pro.
And Spoon Springs.

Airbox mod
B pipe
Gearbox mount insert
Camber bolts and arms
Coil overs

That's where I'll start.

probably not in "my first mods" category, but something I'd definitely do when the box comes out for clutch.
it's one of those hidden mods thats definitely worth doing.

It would be my first mod. Way above 'power' and suspension mods.

Kind of reminds me when my mate said he needs a bigger more powerful bike than his 2001 600. I said to him, can you lap Cadwell in 1m36s on it? His reply was no. Well to be honest he doesn't need a bigger bike.

Same goes for the Type R really. Just fill in what Honda should have done to them from the factory and take it on a trackday and enjoy!

I hope when I get to your age I have the same enthusiasm. Currently gone off the boil a bit, forced to drive this 2.2 but I have a feeling my mid life crisis is about to erupt

@hondacivicnut

I'd have to agree, I didn't think I'd make use of it often but anytime you just want a squirt on your way home or weekend it's there.

The feel of it pulling you round opposed to undsrsteering into the ditch is addictive.

Still say ex mani on an FN2 but EP3 that's already fun I'd get an LSD paired with a 5.1 FD.

Just spent the first 70 notes. Ngk laser iridium plugs and a silicone intake hose (blue this time). Would like to replace the air filter, don't know what is best?
I saved a few quid on the headlight bulb, turns out it was unplugged

I've got a K&N filter in my airbox mod, the ITG drop in filter seems to be a forum favourite though.

Yeah seen that elsewhere, just wasn't sure about using a sponge filter. Hondata mod worth doing? Got a spare box just in case
