Fn2 Civic Type r rear left brakes sticking?

hi,
My rear left brake makes a squealing sound(whilst driving) whenever I start it up, after not driving for more then a day. Today I start it up after not driving for about 5 days, same issue except this time it got stuck. I gave it some throttle and it made two loud clunks went back to normal squealing. The squealing goes away after 20 seconds of driving. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Most likely have a sticking caliper piston , need to strip it down and take a look to see the actual cause , just check also that the backing plate isn't sat on the disc also .

Good, the sliders are often overlooked.

You should also use a high temp lube (not copper slip/etc) otherwise the pins will dry out pretty quickly and cause brake issues.

Is it possible that this could be result of rust build up?, as issue does disappear after a minute of driving...

Honda do a free brake inspection, get it booked in and see what they say. Sounds like your calliper is on it's way out, i had the same issue and got refurbed ep3 callipers fitted (they are the same minus the type r lettering) and car now drives like new. A refurb kit also didn't help as the pistons had gone
