Next Mod Advice Please

Having fitted the Gruppe M induction, time to start thinking of whats next and get the pennies together for it.

What would you suggest next engine mod wise? I'm thinking either Oil pump balance shaft delete kit OR Group N Hondata flashpro. Bare in mind I'm not going down the exhaust route (yet) as I'm trying to keep the car as quite as possible but realise more noise comes with more power, but may eventually get an manifold and sports cat fitted to the standard system.

Cheers
Dave

I'd get the FD2 pump conversion but only when I needed the chain doing. Map I'd leave 'til I had the exhaust done personally. Apparently the M2 isn't much louder than stock, I don't want a loud exhaust either.
You can also get the Ecutek done for 550 - a bloke near me has had his done with all those daft little gimmicks, I'd just want a map so it runs spot on and vtec comes in earlier so the gizmos are free really.

That's my way of thinking but the pump is 400 plus another 200+ for a new timing chain, guides and adjuster. Then fitting it is another 320 if I decid not to fit it myself.
As for Ecutek, is that 550 including the map set up?

Cheers
Dave

If only I could fit stuff myself, ha.

Yeah guy who I take my car to get fixed has an fn aswell and get got it mapped a couple of weeks ago, think was 550 all in. I know other ecutek providers charge a lot more which is ridiculous. Its a place in Sheffield that specialises in Evos and Hondas

If I were to do it all again:

Diff and lightened flywheel... + lighter 17' wheels

Get the manifold and a map together.

FD2 pump when chain needed doing or Cams going in.

Nice one, thanks. There seems to be a theme building with the oil pump.
Would like a diff so on the list to do later (or was), I assume the lightened flywheel will give a similar result to the pump by reducing drag?

Cheers

Diff made a big difference, I had the lightened flywheel and pump did at the same time.

but woke the car up, revs faster, but easier to stall.
