Breakdown !!

Just got back to the car , nothing from ignition no crank , lights on dash going crazy , waiting for recovery .. any ideas while I’m waiting ?

When was it last replaced?

Any issues with battery drain? - HFT maybe?

Weird electrical gremlins and no crank defo point to a flat battery IMO.

Hope it's a straight forward fix.

Good luck getting it sorted.

I would hope it was the alternator or the battery - at least these items are pretty easy to change out and knowing that is the only thing at fault..

From what you have said, sounds like a dead battery!

If they can jump it then I would agree with the battery being dead, if they can't jump it and it drains the booster pack then it will more than likely be the alternator. had it with our FRV, it completely drained everything possible. As soon as you disconnect the alternator it with jump start.

Make sure your keys aren't in the ignition when they connect the leads.
