Question NA v's SC

I have been toying with the idea of supercharging mt FN2 for a while as I like the idea of the instant bolt on power, but after reading up and looking into it more I'm slowly coming back to the idea of staying NA.
The cost is not the limiting factor, approx £5.5k for a supercharger kit with self install done properly for around 300-350 bhp. But the question is do I need that much power in what is generally a daily??
Also not keen of the fact that many are reporting having to lower their redline on boosted, and coming from bikes I like to hear an engine rev high and loving my 8.5k rev limit (would love to see 9K).

So, what are my options for spending close to the the same region of cash, less would be good and getting close to the 300bhp mark?

I know 250bhp with cams and accompanying mods is very achievable, but what would be needed to get 275-300bhp NA and 9K rev limit?

I'm aware of the K24 conversion but not over familiar with it as I'm only just starting to read up on it.
How much would a conversion done myself cost?

Car so far only has Gruppe M with TDI-North remap via Flashpro showing 219bhp, in my garage is waiting my Teg 4-2-1 manifold to be fitted. Next purchase will be the FD2 pump, RRC inlet Mani, (hopefully) FD2 TB.

Thanks for any help and advice

Cheers
Dave

Edit
Can the K20 engine be overbored and what to?

Leave it standard and buy another bike. You'll lose money on it, it'll be less reliable and it will cost more to run.

That would be nice @hondacivicnut but unfortunately circumstances don't allow at the moment, plus I'm getting back into my cars and can't leave alone. Not worried about the loosing money as I spent 10's of thousands on racing with nothing but some old tin pots to show for it :-/

If you take a read through my mod thread (DPG87's Red Monster) you'll see all the info you need on a K24 build

It's an 80 page thread these days but well worth a read as it's one of the best cars here.

N/A for me, although I wouldn't write off forced induction in the future.
I'd love my Ep3 to get to this level....

That R1 is the same model I had for the road. I ended up selling it because it was too boring on road and getting another R6.

Yeah my friends used to race Pi R6's and they still use them on trackdays to pee the guys off on the 1000s.

When I put bikes in the back burner, they went racing so I've got quite a few track days before I can even get in the fast groups with them. We all used to be pretty much the same level on the road. Not any more.....

Same here @hondacivicnut , been out off it completely for about 7 years now. Would take some practice to get back to near where I was.
Donít miss the expense though, miss the friends and camaraderie more.

Cheers @Farqui it's been a while since I've really bothered with it, need to spend some time to get it back on the road and enjoy it a bit I think

Not sure on this one, looks a different fitment to FN2 and few bits and pieces left to get, not sure of age either. Good price though, but it is tatty and would need some work.
