Gear getting stuck between 1st and 2nd gear in high RPM

I have a 09 CW, about 90K miles. Bought it a month ago, and changed the gear oil 2 weeks back.

When flooring it in 1st and making a change to 2nd I have about 1-2 seconds of the gear being very stubborn to put into 2nd. I don't get it in 2nd to 3rd. (Or don't think I've had the road opportunity to do so). I think it only happens when hitting the limiter.

Any ideas what this maybe, a potential clutch issue? I bled the clutch amateurly myself, got rid of the black stuff and put in fresh fluid. (might have done it wrong, but I'm sure I had this prior to changing gear oil + clutch fluid).

Where's the clutch biting point, an inch max off the floor?

Perhaps you need to put a set of poly Bush engine mount inserts in ' 70 on the interweb transformed my gear change at high revs dramatically but slight vibration

Garage
I'd take it to grinspeed and see if they can replicate the problem.

Sounds like a gearbox issue
