FN2 exhaust mounts..

Hi guys,
about a week ago the nearside part of my Invidia cat-back started to make a knocking noise against something under the car. after a bit of 'googling' i found some info saying that ford escort ones are a good fit, so i ordered some new mounts off ebay - 2 Exhaust hangers for Ford Escort 1.6 55 Van 1980-90 FDR4 PSM54C FDR35 PSM62C | eBay

has anyone used these particular ones before and do they stop the (rather annoying) knocking noise?..
cars in for MOT a week tomorrow and for this to get sorted, as well as a small 'blow' from the exhaust...

Quite a few folk in here have fitted these - seems to do the trick just fine

Did these mounts help? Want to change mine as well as tweak the hangers for better position.

My Toda (full system) seems to be a little rattly on pull-away, not sure if its catching a heat shield or something? was wondering if it was the exhaust mounts? (I have the poly bush kit for the engine mounts) Am I right in thinking you need 5 mounts to sort the whole exhaust?

No because some of the mounts at the back axle are different .

The power flex can only be used in three places .

First bend after the cat

2x rear hangers

I ordered a few of these, the holes were too small, so I drilled them to so that they could fit. now 2 have burst. Did anyone else need to drill theirs?

I have an Invidia dual exit 3" system and found its the exhaust tips rattling against the inside of those triangles in the bumper, Grinpseed fitted a pair of those powerflex mounts mentioned above and its helped.
