250 NA bhp on the FN2?

Hello guys

After having sold my CW and all the performance parts due to financial reasons and getting a C1 to get back on my feet I have started to contemplate on getting a FN2 from 2007 again next year and NA tune it to 250bhp

I miss the R a lot but it won't be a CW because of the taxes on cars in Denmark so looking for an older one.

Therefore I would like to hear from you guys how you would go about reaching the 250hp mark if you could do it all again. Please note SC is out of the question and I want to go the NA route.

I would also be looking for a quaife diff for sure

Which exhaust, cams, intake and so on would you buy for the most bang for your money and want would roughly be the cost of reaching 250hp?

I was thinking of getting parts and the tune done in the UK at CPl or TDi. Making a weekend out of it

Cheers guys

tegiwa intake, fd2 throttle body, rrc intake, tdi cams, tegiwa exhaust manifold, tdi exhaust

im sure that will get you a solid 250bhp

fd2 cams seems to peak around 245bhp

What he said. Would a CAI be a better option if figure chasing though?

250 NA bhp on the FN2?

It is yes just doesn't look as pretty, well it's invisible so that's kinda obvious.
In before someone suggests its a waste of money and FI is the way forward.

Garage
I'd add

ceramic coating the exhaust manifold,

3' exhaust

and a closed intake with ducting.

Or if you buy a high milage FN2:

RRC Pistons
RRC Oil Pump
RRC inlet manifold
J37 Throttle Body (70mm)
Toda Head Gasket
TSX/FD2/TDI Stge 1 Cams
Toda/Matileous Exhaust manifold
Tegiwa/Mugen/Gruppe M intake.

Interesting suggesting the Martelius with no proven figures or data on it yet, or has there been and I've missed it?

I thought it needed half an inch cutting off it to fit.

But it only doesn't fit if you have fog lights, from what i read.

Forgot to say it would like a car that isn't too loud on the motorway. I am 34 years old after all and hoping to start a family soon.

maybe best to get the tegiwa intake, along with the tdi exhaust..

cpl will be loud due to it being a CAI and the exhaust is track friendly
