Fiberworks bumper scoops

Anybody using these scoops - FN2 Civic FX Bumper Scoops

Can someone coment about how do they fit and the quality....especially compared with those from tegiwa. I see they are cheaper but are they worth it or are you better of with the tegiwa ones?

Thanks

Having gone from Tegiwa to Fibreworks I believe them to be pretty much identical. Fibreworks ones come with a mesh to stop debris which is helpful

A little of topic but I got mine from Aerokit. You had to drill the fitting hole out yourself (better IMO since I can fit them perfect to the front) and also fit your own mesh. They sit perfect and I'm very pleased!

Not much airflow through them (Only one side that can lead the air better). Take a look at my thread, I made som comparissions at the bottom of the page.

One of the Tegiwa ones fell out at some point during a drive. Not a fault of the design, I don't think I tightened the bolt enough and it just rattled itself out.

+1

The fitting is rock solid. Drilling and bolting on was a much better option than the 'clip in' option offered by some of the other brands.

Type-R kits is another option. Very well made, comes with mesh and all clips and bolts required to fit properly

The ones you've linked to in the opening post also are a bolt on design.

Firework manufactured our first batch. We stopped using them due to fitment problems. However it looks like they may have changed them slight now.
