'Economy' Re-map- no loss of performance?

Hi all ! I have just come across an economy re-map device on ebay, link below. It claims to save 15-20 quid on the economy mode per tank of fuel. What are everyones views on this? sounds appealing to me, good investment?? Although I'm sure if this were the case, everyone would be getting one?
Performance / Economy reMAP HONDA CIVIC TYPE R EK9 EP3 FD2 FN2 GT | eBay

Just to be clear my current knowledge of remapping = 0

Thanks in advance for the replies!

In any case;, at best it won't work, at worst it'll do some serious damage.
Avoid.
