Its all relative pal and peoples own recommendations will all be based on opinion and experience based on their own driving.

Some people want all out grip, comfort, wear, low noise etc.

Personally my car came with Pirelli P Nero Rossos, quite a good tyre, wore very well but soft on the sidewall and didn't turn in just as sharp as some.

I swapped these to Yokohama AD08- An epic tyre which is hard to get at the moment due to supply issues. Very hard on fuel ( 5-7mpg loss) noisey, hard sidewall but that gets you the best turn in and grip you can imagine. Designed as a semi track day tyre you have to drive with respect in heavy rain etc and they come into their own with a bit of heat, Wore very well on the front seeing as the abuse they got. Very square side wall too so not forgiving with poor clearance or with spacers etc.

At the minute I have Vredestian Ultrac Vorti. Again a top summer/track day tyre, a little quieter and not as grippy as the AD08 but very good and exceptionally well priced for its abilities. Fantastic in the wet too. a more compliant rounded sidewall

I would recommend Camskill for tyre prices and quick delivery. Maybe get to a local meet and see if you can experience a few different tyres fella

I am looking at Syron race 1's, great writes ups, brilliant price and a few people on here are running them (Desi?), less than 300 delivered to a local fitting centre, just waiting for the centre to open after the bank hols to see when they can fit and if there are any "extras" such as balancing and disposal.

These are showing as available (unless you need to go all the way to the check out to be told they are out of stock) - they are letting me add to my cart, quite a difference in price though about 35 a tyre more expensive

just ordered mine, fitting a week on Monday

I've been running the F1's for 4 months, and can't praise them enough. Superb in the wet, ideal for Yorkshire weather, and very good in the dry. Recommended to me by Relic, along with Continental Sports Contact 3's.

camskill.co.uk were the cheapest.

Good luck mate, it's a jungle out there !

+4. Much better than oem Bridgestone everywhere aside from steering turn in feedback. See the thread comparing the two for more info.
