Not sure where to post this so here goes,

Has any body owned a mk2 seat leon cupra (facelift) ?

Just want your opinion on how it stacks up against the R, not just performance wise but in general

Thanks in advance

Have a soft spot for these providing they have the btcc kit on

Excellent ride and very tunable engine (circa 300 with a remap) which turns them into a bit of a weapon

Not as light on there feet as an FN2 and dont have the razor sharp turn in but still not bad in the twisties and your spine will still be attached after speed bumps

Interior is still a bit naff but is much improved in the facelift

The one iv seen is FL model, but it has the btcc kit fitted which I'm not a fan of to be honest, prefer the Fl front bumper,

I can't seem to settle with a car recently, I'm like a kid ....want want want

I think you mean FR?

Its a different model to the cupra, with a different engine, suspension, seats.

The cupra as standard does not come with the btcc kit on if you'd rather not, but its the better model to go for over the FR if your looking for a performance car.

Nope I means what I means lol, FL is face lift for short. I had an 09 fr tdi before the Civic. I was originally after a cupra but the civic was too good a deal to pass on at the time,

Cupra prices went up just before the summer(fl) although there trade in value seemed far less.
