This weeks Auto Express

Folks - has anyone else read the comparrsion article between the Civic, Golf, Focus and Auris?

The Civic came out in first place!!!!! Yippeeee!!!

Can't work out why they tested the Civic against three 1.6 models though.

Even so, the Toyota Auris is just a blob from a styling perspective. Simply a grown up Yaris, which is perhaps not such a good starting point. And check out Toyota's copy of the Civic's dashboard instrumentation. Laughably bad. Moreover, what's with that much touted centre console? Seems rather impractical to me.

Still, I'm sure all three (Golf, Focus and Auris) will continue to sell well despite being pistol whipped by the Civic!!

Well at least we will remain in a exclusive group - the Civ will never be a common car like the other 3.
