110k 2.2

well just hit 110k still going. Clutch just gone. Let it slip for a couple of days then it failed altogether , oops has done the fly wheel. But 110k hard driving for a clutch is good. The bad news have had to give ciciv to another manager as I was doing to many miles on it. Have ended up with a passat which has shown me how good the civic is. So gutles!!! No toys ! I want my ex back. Would advise anyone to get one, good spec, good handling apart from nervous under hard breaking from speed, great engine. Buy one. another manager has a golf , which costs more but is slower and has no sat nav etc why ???? When lease comes to an end in 12 months (it should have 150k ) I might buy it.

Your car must be one of the highest mileage civics and its good tohear you prefer it over VWs. Did you have any other problems ? What sort of driving - mostly motorway or mixed etc ?

No problems , mainly motorway miles. Still loads of life left in it yet. Still does the same top end as when I first got it. Burns 1ltr every 12k but it has done that from day one. Thought 4 full sets of brake discs all round was pretty bad though, glad i didnt have to pay for them !
