What size of wheel spacer needed FN2 with aftermarket wheel

Bought a new set of rims from Japan and fitted today at local Tyres store and they said need to put the spacer in and so what size should i get and where(ebay)
(OEM tyre and rim size - 225/40/18 18X7.5 ET55) and (New tyre and rim size - 235/40/18 18X8 ET45)

I would have thought they would tell you what you needed? My guess would be 10mm, and it is only a guess. I'd check with the garage.

they would be the best people to tell you mate as they can see where the problem is. Wheels look like they clear the calipers ok, so I presume the offset isn't big enough to clear the inside of the car? You can get spacers easily (Tegiwa, Eibach etc), but you will need to know from them if you need just thin (5mm plates) or hubcentrics, for something thicker....
