Question Spacers & tyre help

Evening guys just a quick question a friend wants spacers on the rear of his fk2 and a larger profile tyre on the rear, are 245/35/19 or 255/35/19 a suitable tyre and whether the tyre size and spacers would affect handling?

Don't shoot me, as you know I don't do mods, this is for a mate.

How big are the spacers?

I've seen some running 235 without any problems, but it'll depend on how the alloy sits in the arch (offset and spacers), as you'll have more tyre on both sides and a larger rolling circumference.

If you look at the back wheels these are sat under the rear arch, he wants a wider profile tyre than 235 and spacers to bring the wheel in conjunction with the arch itself, 10mm spacers

Ah, the 9g fk2! Not sure what others have been running then, but use this to give you an indication of how it'd increase the width on front and back of the wheel!
