Changing brake pads

Looks like I need to replace the rear pads soon on my 9G 1.8.

Is there anything to be aware of on these? This is my first Civic and there's no Haynes manual except for the 8G, but I'm hoping it's all normal?

On my old Focus, there were crazy-sized allen keys required to get the callipers open and then you had to wind the piston back with a special tool - A right PITA!

Please tell me it's less faff than that?

Really simple job... just check the Disk thickness, as they wear pretty quick.

You can normally get 2 sets of pads to a set of disks on the front, rears it's often the disks are below min thickness, when the pads are worn out.

Ah... Okay. What's the minimum thickness on them? I have a vernier to check them with.
