Possible disc damage?

Hi everyone,

I've noticed squeaky sound recently when applying brakes. Pads should be fine as car is new and have only made 3000 miles. What I have found is that one of the front discs have got deep scratch that goes around it. Does anyone now will I have to change it now or could that cause squeaky noise?

Garage
Probably from a stone chip from when driving on a gravel road.

No need to replace.

More likely a stone is caught in the brake calliper/housing and needs removing. This should sort the noise. Disc scoring is not a problem.
