Why hond have changed brake pads manufacture?

Civic tourrer 1.6 idtec from 2014.
Factory mounted: front - Galfer and rear: textar.
original Honda brake pads From coxmotorparts: front and rear - Ate

And, the click in reverse ... is now gone.
