Wheel rim size

Hello, apologies that this must be a rookie question...

Any one know the size of the wheel rim in the photo?

Thank you! It might be it. Im considering exchanging a sharp looking rim. Any recommendation?

Is 17 better? Do I need to change the tyre to fit 17?

what do you mean by "sharp looking rim"? - I presume you do not mean just one but the whole set?

a 16" tyre will not fit a 17" rim - that would need a..... well..... 17" tyre

Do you recommend a 17 instead of 16 on 9G?

I've never driven a 9g on 16 or 17 inch rims, so can't compare. Someone else might have tho...

Driven two 1.6 9th gens on 16 and 17. Ours is on 17s with Fulda multi control tyres. A dealer tester/loan on 16s with kumho winter tyres on 16s. Even though ours has 7K plus on it and on 17s, while the dealer tester has less than 2K, ours was smoother and less crashy (if that's the correct word) over severe bridge expansion joints at speed. Quieter too. Both were driven the exact same route, same time of day on consecutive days. Seems to me tyre choice has a bigger impact on ride comfort than size.

16s 205/55
17s 225/45

Mind you fuel economy was 0.1 L/100km better on the 16s as expected.

17 is the largest allowed size at 1.6? I can mount the r18 according to the documents.
Is it that I have a 2.2 i-dtec?
