Spacesaver wheel.

Hi, Has anybody bought a spacesaver wheel for their civic? Mine is a 2016 1.6i Dtec and has the obligatory can of gunk and compressor, but just wonder if anybody has a wheel, and if so will it fit in the underfloor compartment?

Yes, I ordered the kit with spacesaver wheel and jack (also came with a cargo net!) from Honda and they fitted for nothing extra (5 minute job). It fits in the space below the boot floor and bolts down. The jack slots into the left side cubby hole in the boot.

This is the Honda product: https://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/hond...eel-2012-2016/

I grabbed one second hand; I've not bothered bolting it in to the boot - I just padded the surrounding area with high vis / blankets and other emergency bits and bobs.

Came in useful on Sunday, as I drove over a sharp stone whilst parking which gashed a massive tear in the tyre; Would've been waiting hours for a recovery if I didn't have the spare!

Plenty of room for a spacesaver in a tourer

I bought one off ebay with a jack and brace as soon as I got mine.

Cost about 100 I think

I've never used it but gives peace of mind, even if my wife has a puncture she can still call the AA and get them to change it to get her on her way

Hope they aren't the same ones that are made in China.
