2nd hand wheels and tyres - TPMS

Hi I was wondering if someone can help me with a question about the tyre pressure monitoring system on the 2013 1.6 diesel MK9 Civic?

I have been offered some alternative ATS alloys (currently on a Honda Accord) fitted with a good set of branded tyres. Will I run into issues with the TPMS system? The wheels were fitted on an old 2004 Accord so I assume that TPMS valves wouldn't be fitted for that vehicle

Any help would be great. I have read elsewhere that the TPMS on the Civic is not direct and doesn't rely on special valves but I would like to know before investing on some wheels that I'll need to change the valves on

You'll be fine; The TPMS uses the ABS sensors, so wheels and tyres are free game:- You may need to reset after fitting though!
