New 18" Rims & Boots

Decided to give my car a good post winter clean and at the same time popped some new rims and rubber on. Upgraded from the standard 17" sport to an 18" rim with a better offset. Was looking to try and retain as much of an OEM look as possible. Shod with Michelin PS4 rubber all for a smidge over 700

Top work Craig,
I've been looking at new rims for my 2015 sport.
I'm thinking 18s would look better than 19s possibly.
What offset are you on ? 45 ?

Craiguk you're a bad influence!
After seeing your civic with the springs on, I couldn't resist and had to sort out the ride height.
Then after seeing the photos with the 18's I was right on the phone to demon tweeks ordering up the team dynamics
Pics to follow

Cheers fellas, they are 45 offset and 8 inch width. Nearly perfect fit although if I was being picky I would pop a 5mm spacer on the rear. That would mean replacing the studs though to retain the minimum recommended length.

I had looked at 19 inch but 3 things put me off. Firstly the ride quality and risk of damaging wheels and tyres because of our roads. Secondly there is a significant price difference between 18 and 19 inch rubber. Finally a 19 inch setup comes at a sizeable weight penalty.

Overall I'm happy with my choice.

Look really nice. I'm after a set of alloys to finish off my Alabaster Silver but can't find any other Silver Civics for inspiration!
