rear windscreen wipers, mk8 retro fit

Is this possible, or am I stuck without a rear wiper until I change my car?

Wiperless.
Just keep a bottle of window cleaner and a microfiber cloth in the boot.

I thought I would miss a rear wiper but I don't miss it one bit.

If you keep moving then the rear screen stays dry. If you are stopping often then use your mirrors more

Does the split rear screen bother you too?

Change is good

I now use meguiars spray wax on rear window rather than pay extra for a specific window rain repellant. Works but even at speed lack of direct airflow (as on front screen) still means water doesn't run off as easy. As for headlights I just use rear spoiler to block headlights that are blinding or adjust body posture if I feel need to get better picture behind me.

Sent whilst plotting to take over the world.

Nanolex urban sealant is a good option.
I know you've said about not being keen on sealants but this one is a beast. I swear by the stuff.
I did use the Gtechniq as mentioned above by shaunwistow, but after using the nanolex there's no going back!

And the headlights in the split rear window?! Well I've always found if you drive it hard enough you never see headlights behind you anyways
