Hi i was just reading about the myth and i got a bit confused

It is often said that cold dense air makes the engine have to deliver more fuel. This only applies at full throttle, where the engine is able to receive more charge, and the ECU responds by adding more fuel (you will also get more power). But for normal driving the ECU measures the air density and applies the appropriate amount of fuel. So to make 30 bhp in warm air uses the same amount of fuel to make 30 bhp in cold air.
It say that the ECU measure the air density and applies the appropriate amount of fuel. So we have different amount of fuel for different air density, and the air density if connected with the air temperature. So is this a myth or not?
