Based on Bentley R Type chassis, one of the last of the proper coachbuilt cars by James Young of Bromley, a Jack Barclay company.
Bought by a director of the Sanderson wallpaper company from JB Mayfair, the car has been owned in London, Cornwall, Lancashire, Cheshire, Virginia USA, Manhattan and back to Somerset, Warwickshire and now Devon.
The car has hand beaten aluminium panels on an ash frame (like a Morgan) 4.5 litre straight six and right hand manual gearchange.... also served several happy brides.
