Hi all. I bought this Civic 1.8 2007 i-shift for my girl's birthday. She is smart and has a PhD in engineering. After 1 month's training, she finally knows how to use Waze and which is the brake pedal. But parking, hopeless.
So far so good. It is an interesting car. Old but lovely.
After hearing some very noticeable grinding coming from the rear brake discs, I decided to take my Honda Civic 2.2 diesel (2008) to a local garage near my work. The closest one happened to be a KwikFit (I can hear your sighs already).
Anyway, after about 30 mins I got a call to say...
Just thought I would share the treats that I am giving my TypeR at the end of this month.
HEL 6 line braided brake hose kit
Motul RBF 660 brake fluid
Cosworth Streetmaster brake pads (Front and Rear)
DBA 42500S Front discs (wiper slot)
This will be my first braking upgrade for this...
i double checked my admiral insurance policy for changing my oem honda disc and pads to ebc turbogroove and green stuff pads. it will cost me extra 14.84 to add to my policy, is this normal guys? you would think they would charge less for putting better brakes on the car .
