Following an old thread on here I decided to whip up a custom Induction kit for my 2008 FN2. I managed to source a new MAF adaptor housing from K&N, some silicone hose form auto silicone and a generic mushroom filter. It took about an hour to install and it sounds pretty neat. Cost me around £40...
So I've been looking at getting the hks induction kit for my ctr fn2.
Tdi north supply and fit for £426
Maps £650 to £850
Is this really worth the cost?
I've got a stock engine ATM with a milltek cat to back.
Not sure if it's been mapped before I got it and also has a throttle controller...
I am really new to this, this is my first post so please apologies for any rookie errors I make!
I recently bought a 2007 Type-S GT and LOVE IT. Its my first Honda and would love to put an induction kit on it for a more fun noise in acceleration.
I've ordered a K&N one (made to fit)...
I had the K57i induction kit fitted Sat by a mate, he ran the cold air feed to where the horn was in the front grill and removed the resonator box.
I have driven around 40 miles since its been fitted and I am really pleased, great induction sound after 3k revs and the flat spot I had around...
I know cold air intakes make no difference at all to a car's horsepower as proven by MCM. Although I do love the Induction roar they make when you put your foot down!! :D Call me a big kid.
Though seems strange I can't find any inductions kits for my vehicle anywhere. Mine is a 1.4...
Got a 1.4 Honda Civic recently and was just wondering if anyone knows of a Panel Filter/Induction Kit that can be fitted to this car.
Have had a look on this forum and around some manufacturers and can't seem to find anything.
Any help is much appreciated
