I know all remaps are different but what's the 0-62 time after a remap roughly?

I agree, on previous cars a more reliable method to test performance gains is to choose a fixed gear and a start and end rpm to measure the time between.

Maybe 3rd gear 2000-4000rpm would be a decent measure?

I'm not sure what speed the car would be doing at the end, so maybe 2nd gear might be more legal.

Does the ECU let you have full power in 2nd? Just commenting from my experience of motorbikes where dynos are done in 4th to get around any restrictions applied.

depends on the map, oem is torque limited 1st and 2nd

How long is a piece of string?

Seriously though, so many factors to consider here you just won't get an answer. Weather, mechanical condition of your car, tyres, altitude, driving skill, not to mention the remap itself. Lots of different remaps out there (although some big companies buy theirs from others, so less than you might think), so depends largely on which company you've plumped for, which stage of remap you've got, and any other mods on your car.

All I can tell you is that mine is 4.1 seconds with a stage 1 map...

Hmm, that's not quite as funny as 4.1 seconds!

Assume all these figures have been said tongue in cheek.

My remapped Civic is around a second quicker 0-60 than a standard 2.2 i-ctdi.
