Looking at changing my Civic SR wheels to diamond cut alloys.

Ive seen a set of 17" that i like.. however i noticed the tyres are 205/55/17 and the other identical ones ive saw have 205/45/17 tyres on them? Which is it suppose to be?

Also going from 16-17" going to make any difference to the handling/ride comfort etc?

Cheers in advance!

Surely they should give the same result as the factory fit. 225/45/17 like wot Steve said.
To give you a comparison, the 10G, the 16s have 215/55R16 on 16 x 7J wheels and the 17s are 235/45R17 on 17 x 8J wheels.

As said by others...

205/55/R16 for 16" rims - which I run on my winter rims
225/45/R17 for 17" rims - which I run on my summers for my 15 plate Civic

205/55/R17s would be taller than the correct 45 profile
