Hi guys,

I posted a few weeks ago in the introduce yourself section but I thought i'd make a quick post here so I can use this thread for future updates. I've just signed up to the supporters because its a great resource.

The plan is really to try and make the car a bit more comfortable for long journeys, I need to find the source of the little rattles, and get some better tyres on it first. If anyone has any pointers on making the ride a bit more comfortable i'd appreciate it. I've read up on some threads which refer to changing the suspension but I don't want to spend another 1k on the recommended setup. The sat nav needs an update too, its a bit hit and miss.

Other plans are just a good service and sensible styling modifications really, alloy refurb, skunk2 gear knob, new set of mats, some wind deflectors, black front grille, and black vinyl fuel cap wrap. Tempted by a remap but don't want to worry about the clutch to be honest.

All things considered i'm really pleased with it, running costs are great and the innovation in it for a 10 year old car really is quite impressive. Heated seats have been nice to have, i think the passenger side seat has a fuse missing as its only heating up the back part of the seat. There is very little I don't like, the clutch clicks a bit if the temperature is below zero but not much to be fair.

Anyway, I apologise if this post is a little all over the place, i've typed it in a rush.

Thanks for reading :) I'm based in the Midlands btw.

There's a skunk2 gear knob in the for sale section if you want to kick start your mods, but be warned, once you start, you won't be able to stop
