Hello!
Does anyone have experience with that material used for clutch. We all know for our slipping problems, and that for now mostly CG 6 paddle is best solution. And from experience of Coste1l with his Kevlar made clutch - NOT GOOD, I still trying to ring many of garages here: Many of them talking me that I get them OEM clutch (not pressure plate) and they will put there material Sintered Bronze - for example 4 paddle will be enough (that is 8 plates of material - both sides), but I'll go 6 or 8 to be more secure from slipping. One of those told me that can build totaly new clutch without springs inside (like from CG I see..), and says that there will not be juddering - he just need OEM for diameter and tooths...
I'm little afraid if that will be missed thing so asking for some experience here. And as I can see CG for his 6 paddle doeing same thing - takeing 325 clutch and rebuilding it with new material - and pressure plate is probably the same..
I see that guys for Ferrari useing that material (from another forum):
"Can anyone recommend a good shop to reline sintered bronze clutch discs?"
"Centerforce
If these guys can't do it, it probably can't be done"
"FYI sintered bronze is the material used in 360 and 430 Challenge race cars."
Tilton and Centerforce - good companies....
