Hi all

Hate to announce myself with a problem, but here goes!

Just bought myself a very nice 2003 Civic coupe, but unfortunately whichever muppet owned the car before me pulled out the original stereo and then never wired the new one in.

Apart from having to drive in silence (never good) I have no instrument lights and no back 'headlights' either. I think I've read somewhere that both of these are on the same system, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Sounds like either a shorted fuse or a couple of wires need twisting back together, but I'm not sure what to check or where to look!

Any help much appreciated before I end up at a dealer with their bills...

fuses first for me! there is usually a pull down/off panel under the steering wheel or in/under the glove box on the inside of the panel there should be a diagram showing which fuse does what. try them 1st theres also some larger fuses under the bonnet but its unlikely to be them, failing that an auto electrician should be cheaper than the dealer
