Hi All, alarm started going off for no reason this morning and had to be continually reset. Eventually had to disconnect the battery. Re-connected, drove to work and within 5 minutes of parking and locking it was going off again! have tried locking the door with the keys and locking using fob either way it keeps going off. Now back home and battery disconnected as going off repeatedly, Any ideas on how to reset the alarm or bypass it completely. Phoned dealer and they suggested £600 for new alarm which i simply can't afford. any help appreciated guys , Thanks.

Alarm is in the boot...."rip it out"!!! Cos I would if it was driving me nuts :scream1:

Do you know where in the boot cos when i gutted the interior to fit the towbar i don't remenber seeing it? thanks (i'll just disconnect it)

Try disconnecting the ultrasonic sensor first (above the mirror). Might be a bit easier than the boot strip out.
Alternatively the alarm is on the right hand side just behind/above the wheelarch.
It's hidden behind the body panels, but can be unbolted and removed.
