Hi

I'm looking at some 2006-2011 Civics with the EX spec. These come with bluetooth for phone pairing. Can anyone advise if you can play music through the stereo from your phone using the bluetooth connection or is it just limited to phone calls.

Cheers

OK thanks. So what are my options for anything other than CD or radio?

Is there a USB or aux port?

Depends on the model year, the early ones only have a radio and CD.
The CD is mp3 compatible, so you can play mp3 files from a CD.

After the 2009 facelift there are aux in options, I can't remember the details, but they are in the Wiki.

EDIT: For the early cars there was an ipod connector option, but this was very expensive and not very good. Also, although requiring some work, it is possible to fit a double din aftermarket stereo. Again, more info about both of these things in the wiki.

I got the honda ipod connector (honda music link 2.0) for £45

The sound quality is faultless, plus it connects and controls my iPhone a treat

It's the only practical solution for the EX models

Thanks. I went for a 2009 ES in the end. Strangely even though it's 2009 it doesn't appear to have any of the facelift optons. No aux in. Never mind, I'll look for options.

Thanks for the replies.
