Hi all,

Someone recently told me that we should only start the engine at the conclusion of the 6 beeps when we turn the key into the ignition position.

Is this true? Does anybody practice this?

This is not the case - I think the comment you are referring to was to do with the diesel, which should be started when the glow plug light goes out.

Correct matey, which is about 2 seconds :p

I leave it a few seconds for good practice as it wont kill me.
The beeper you hear is telling you to put your belt on ;)

EDIT:
Arn't those beeps to remind you to put your seat belt on?
Dammit, beat me haha
