Seems 5th Gear think people should buy the 8G Civic. Ohhh dear Honda not a good start and the cars not even out yet.

I agree with fifth gear, people marvelled at the 8th gen when it came out, even fifth gear (when they reviewed the 8th gen) said the previous civics 7th, 6th gen etc were too dull! looks like business as usual with the 9th gen

5th gear said buy an 8th gen because of the price of the new one. Similar car, half the price!!

The 8th gen was radical when it came out. Its still popular now. If you were to make a new model you wouldnt want it to be too different?.

Honda just played it safe imo.

Couldnt agree more. Was the same thing with the mk1 Focus, now its just another car
