Everything's possible but ECU needs to be unlocked first of all...
Price will probably be higher then supercharging a petrol.

Would need a larger intercooler aswell and might I suggest larger brakes for safety :)

Yeah im thinking the same about configuration sequence..But im not sure wich parts will be fit for my engine..For sure kit will be included the big intercooler..The question is wich models can be fit..After that ecu and brakes are easy..Stage 1 can be nice..Then black tint for all window after that aero or mugen body kit and finally color coding...Can be nice damn..

Bov on a derv doesnt work. I would see what a remap can do 1st

Listen to Coste - no throttle plate so no BOV needed.

Remap is by far the easiest route. You only need to consider larger turbos etc when you hit the pressure limitations of the one that's on. I'd expect you to be able to release a reasonable amount of power just with a remap. You only have to look at those tuning company chip adverts to see that a chip on an average turbo car can usually release 40-50bhp on its own. That's not insignificant on a car with 120 bhp to start with.

That said, if you go the remap route get it done properly with someone like TDi North not via a piggy backing chip.

If you want more power than that, I suggest it would have been far cheaper to buy the 2.2 than start replacing major engine components.

This will probably be edc17 tricore ecu (anti-tune) = no remap.
I belive the 2.2 idtec is not remapped by celtic tuning yet either for the same reason.
Good luck..

ANTI TUNING REMAPS ....you can have the ecu stripped on the bench and wired up though...evidently

Didn't realise some ECU chips were protected these days. Wonder why that is EU pressure or Bosch trying to protect its own maps?

EU I would think.... they have been attempting to kill off tuning for a while now.
Unfotunately its a US requirement that manufacturers do not tie in ECUs programming to themselves.
Indie garages must be given free, equal and fair opportunity to perform the same service and be able to read errors and repair them in the same manner.
Hence the j2534 cable.
