Afternoon all,

Last week i noticed that my air conditioning was not working on my 2006 1.8 ex,
so after searching Civinfo i fount out that there was a recall on the Omron air con relay, i checked to see if my car was fitted with the offending relay and it was, when i checked to see if the relay was clicking when i turned the air con on it wasn't,,
So i ordered the Mitsubu relay from Cox's, im still awaiting the relay, but iv'e noticed that whenever i run the car the radiator fans are on all the time, even when the engine is cold,
My question is: Is this linked in with the faulty air con relay or is it another sensor/relay fault?
Any advise help would be great
Neil

Nah, when AC is on then the front rad fans are on almost constantly.

Changing the relay won't affect the fan operation.

Ok would you say it was a faulty temperature sensor then? climate control works fine, and engine temperature gauge stays just below 1/2 constant, obviously when the car has warmed up

Bad new my air conditioning has stopped working again, the air con is kicking in and the fan is starting, but no cold air,
so booked in again at Astons for a full diagnosis, which unfortunately is costing me another £48
