I think it's time for me to start my own mod thread, as I have had my civic just over 2 months now...

Although have not done any major mods yet, thought I'd show all my lighting which I have on atm...

Basically all LED bulbs.


This is a blue 48 LED stuck on the outer lense which comes with a 3 types of connectors these are dome light, side light and ba12.

As you can see the blue light glows very well in the cabin, also when rear door is open floods out a liitle too. I can also see it through the glass roof at night which is cool and the small perspex tailgate at rear.

I've got front and rear LED white bulbs from ebay. The interior bulb was from ebay from Hong Kong, here's the link if anyones interested but may take a while to come...

Yep tell me about it! Well I'm planning to do the obvious and go for the Type R look, eventually!

I should be getting the grill soon, and then maybe the Type R boot spoiler. I'll be buying the parts bit at a time, due to finding the funds for it and also as would prefer to find used parts rather than a trip to the dealer !!

Did my pads recently to EBC greenstuff, and will be painting the calipers red, so will have pics up soon...

Oh and also changed my indicators to Type R ones, will have to get more pics up soon in the daylight, lol. (when the car's polished maybe)

Yeah don't know how long it'll take for me to get the whole kit, but once I do then it'll be all on! Can't wait, thanks for those splitters.

Erm not sure yet about meet, gotta check my work pattern to see if i'm off that day... Hopefully though, would like to meet up with everyone. I guess you'll be going?

Just a little update, even though did this a while ago didn't get a chance to put pics up.

Changed the gearknob to the 350z one, very nice feel to it and put a TT gaiter on it with blue stitches.

Cars looking good, love the originality of going for the 350 gear knob mate! With mass production cars it is far too easy to just blend in, but that is pretty unique mate :thumbsup:

Yeah it's great, much better than the original. As the leather bits on the side give you a much better feel to it and more of a grip to shift.

The knob was only £12.99 from ebay new genuine Nissan part . (There's always a few on ebay, just search 350z gear knob)

Just got this fitted about 2 weeks ago, looks good and does the job, only thing is the beeper does not sound really good (bit of a squeaky tone) compared to my prev bmw with factory sensors.
