It was standard on some models. It wasn't an option.

For example, it's standard on my type s GT.

I may be totally wrong but I thought 'adaptive' cruise is the one where you can sit behind another vehicle and it will match its variable speed unlike the default cruise that just holds the set speed?

Adaptive looks a useful tool but is a very expensive option.

Ah, I didn't realise there was a difference! Then I've no idea about an adaptive option!

Mine definitely doesn't adjust speed itself!

The ACC was always advertised alongside the CMBS auto braking system. Something like £2k just for the off chance you are not paying attention.

When I bought mine it said it had adaptive cruise but it doesn't. Ive looked at a few civics for sale on the trader and they are advertised as having it. Its mostly honda dealers that advertise them as having it ive noticed

Just be sure I've Googled it and ACC is the system that keeps pace with the vehicle in front.

Definately not standard on any Civic but is a cost option.

The parking sensors are ultrasonic. The radar unit on the crv is located in the h emblem on the front and is used by both the acc and the cmbs I'd imagine the civic is very similar.
