Hi guys,

Looks like someone has sat on my front passenger wing on saturday night. There doesnt seem to be any paint damage.

Just looking for any advice really. Do i take to Honda bodyshop or one of these Dent specialists? Also anyone else had something like this done and how much did it cost?

Many thanks

With those nicely curved dents, with no sharp edges, a good Smart Repair Company should be able fix that.
About £85, down my way.

I have spoke to a company called DENTS INC who quoted me £120 and he didnt sound to convinced that the dent would be fully removed.

I am in the greater Manchester area if anyone could give me any recommendations.

Maybe, he thinks that the metal will have stretched, so he will not be able to loose it.
Try a few more companies, as with everything, it's down to "The Knowledge".

Oooh nasty! U will probably end up with a crease line in it because of the said stretch! Probably worth pricing up a repair and a new wing no point paying out for both!

I had to get a new front wing from my Honda Dealer last year, cost me £127.35 including VAT I believe!

So that might be the price your looking for if you have to order a new one?

I'd say you need a new wing. the damage looks to big for a repair.

Honestly mate for the sake of 3 quid (the can-o-air) try the air and hairdryer method first before forking out 120 odd quid....you might be pleasantly surprised......

NeoFlare was the wing painted at that cost? +fitted?

Thanks, as I have got to price up new versus repair on my wing and passenger door.
No the wing was not painted at that cost..

I had to buy the new wing and a arch trim that goes around it, then bring it to the body repair shop, and pay them another 200 odd quid I think it was to put it on and paint it.

Well, what can i say. DENTS inc have worked miracles on my civic. The dent has completley vanished. He spent 2 hours and i am over the moon with the results. He even removed a few door prangs that were on when i bought the car.

He charged me £130 just in case anyone is interested.

I have uploaded a couple of pics too.

Yeah i was really impressed with the results. I'm glad i didnt have to fork out for a new wing either. The guy said he had done someone else's civic from this forum. All he said was that it was a red civic from Crewe.
