Hey guys, I looking to upgrade the brakes and fancy giving the Cosworth SM pads a go to see if they're a rival to the DS-2500's. The question is; what discs to go for.

My requirements are; they need to be grooved, not drilled. I don't want them to be overly noisy either, if poss. I'm not a fan of EBC or Tarox so they're out.

So what do you recommend?

TIA :)

EDIT: Forgot to say, they also need to be available for front and rear.

They look decent but I want to avoid drilled discs really, just want grooves :)

They were dead helpful when i called a few times
Can't remember his name though!

I've been impressed with the disks so far (8k miles or so)

I would advise though (as with most disks); get some matt spray paint (preferably etch prime too) and lightly dust all of the non contact faces (disk edges etc), just looks a bit nicer for when you wash it as they dont show surface rust from the water
Just mask off the where the pads contact and the wheel contact areas (so wheels sit properly flush and dont cause vibrations at certain speeds)

Just ordered a set of front and rear discs, grooved only. Very reasonable price.. £125 all in. I'll report back once I've had chance to fit/try them.

Thanks again for the info ;)

They're well priced indeed :)

Did you go for the 'coated' ones? (black)
