Hi, my airbag warning light came on in my 2014 Tourer tonight and now won't go off. We hit hit a small pothole about 20 minutes before the light came on.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks

first thing you need to do is get the code read by a suitable code reader
no point guessing
read the code then deleate it
if your lucky it wont come back

It's still under warranty with Honda, hopefully it will be covered and fixed through them.

Just need to know in case the try and wriggle out of fixing it, I'll get a obd2 code reader just in case. Thanks

I get this on occasion when I move the drivers seat back/forward. The airbag cables run directly under the drivers seat and there is a clip.

Give that a wiggle and turn the ignition off/on. May take a few tries but it usually does the trick on my MY2013 Civic. It’s a soft code as it clears once ok, but the ignition does need to be turned off fully.

I really ought to disconnect it and spray some contact cleaner in.

Thanks for the replies, it went back to the dealership and it needed the SRS unit replaced. Thankfully it was covered under warranty although I had to sweat for a few hours while they checked.
