So another item wearing out / needing serviced ?!

I have noticed with all the hot weather that the aircon seems to blow warm/lukewarm air on the drivers side , but cold on the passenger? I have hardly used it so unsure if this is a factor or is it due a service or regass?

it hasn't been done since we bought it at 10 months old.

Cold air on the passenger side but warm air on the driver's side is a classic symptom of low refrigerant.
It could be you have a leak or that it's simply needs topping up. I believe Honda states it's normal to do so every 4 years but for some it lasts much longer.

Another thing, not using your Aircon is actually detrimental to the seals as they won't be lubricated and can crack and dry out, causing a leak.
My money's on a simply regass 馃憤
