Hi All,

Finally took the car to Honda to have the handbrake replaced and the door latch replaced (as part of a recall).

I told them about my alarm issues and the battery dying if left for more than 36 hours.

They charged me £39 for a diagnostic check, said they couldnt find any problems, come and collect your car.

The alarm is still going off when I lock the car.

Should I request a refund for this 'dignostic' check????

I can see why you would expect a refund, I would too. If dealers are going to charge for diagnosis, and it seems they are, they need to be correct. I would expect a written diagnosis, with a printout if applicable.
