unless plugging a firestick in hacks the system surely the built in settings still disable the video playback once the handbrake is released

I agree that 'it should' disable it, but does it?
Be good if djewson came back and told us definitively.:smile3:

If you enter the debug menu, (Can't remember the buttons of the top of my head now) there is the option to disable HDMI Lockout, but it does need to be set every time the headunit boots - Perhaps if you're on a longer trip and need to catch up on some series it would be tenable :D

ill have peppa pig in the car aswell

Don't know why I didn't get an update to say so as I am subscribed to the post
Not doesn't work while driving
I wouldn't suggest it should either
Being a biker too
There are enough hazards to watch out for without someone being distracted having video up front while driving their car
