Has anyone bought a black type r with the private reg MU06 GEN?
It has various mods and has 250bhp and is a bit of a mugen 20 replica as i have the hondata unit that is still locked to its ecu.

Cheers mate, I have good plans for this, already had a few things done to it, all thanks to Murray for making this an amazing piece, ps first thing i did is get rid of the RR badge, will be posting some pics etc when i get a chance.

i just joined the forum having purchased MU06 GEN on saturday

Stunning car hardly any miles on it after Murray and changing hands a few times

I have read the build thread and now have a complete history of the mods

having owned an ep3 14 years ago and heavily modified it I am familiar with hondata ( i had the kpro) but I need to learn a bit more about what exactly was modified in the ecu and how flashpro works

reading the build thread it looks like he may have had a dip in the powerband and was contemplating a toda exhaust manifold

the car now has had a new clutch fitted

the dealer who sold it to me explained that he thought the pads were too harsh - i think he said green?

theres a bit of noise as you brake but they are lethal stoppies!!

the other thing is the alarm- i have the fob but no instruction manual or anything- what version of clifford is it

dealer said to use only the honda key meantime but I have noticed the blue light flashes sometimes after I lock it?

Hey, put pictures of it , and how you compare it to ep3, independent rear suspensions , mechanical throttle body and so on.

Does it have the OEM exhaust manifold then?
If so a manifold really unlocks the mid-range in these a LOT.

yes it still has the oem manifold - it was on the to do list of the guy who originally modded it but he sold it on before getting around to it

i dont have the flash pro that was locked to this car so if i were to put on an exhaust manifold it would would need to be mapped with a new flash pro

i will get around to doing this no doubt but the car is very quick any way at the moment
