I've just seen camskills have dropped the prices of the falkens to £108.30 each.

I need 4 new tyres in the next few weeks ideally and was looking at the goodyear asymetric 2 for £168 each but am really tempted with the falkens for £320 less (all 4)

Anyone used them on rages at all? I've done a lot of mods recently and want to enjoy the car fully this summer but these just seem such good value...

i have them on my 19" so same profile as your rages.

There ok for the price, no great in the dry or wet but not as bad as cheap un branded tyres. Im thinking of changing to something different but many people on here swear by them

Ran them on my Rage and now running them on my Lightnings, can't say they have let me down in any conditions. For the outlay they are fine for 98% of the population.

Are they noisy? I had Potenza's and they were horrible in terms of road noise... got Conti S3's now and they are very quiet, and ride feels much better.

I've been keeping my eye on them 452 for my Rages, usually I see them retail at £121.50. All the online reviews (on other cars) i've seen are pretty good.

I got given four brand new Fullrun tyres (unfitted) for my CTR when I bought it...I've fitted two and can't bring myself to fit the other pair! They are not confidence inspiring!

I defo would have ordered some Falkens today, but I shelled out for pads and disc's yesterday :-( If the offer is still on come the 24th I'll be ordering them!

Hi mate, yeah got them on mine! Not a bad word to say about them good in wet and dry even when giving it some beans!
Dont even look cheap when on good tread pattern and wear well!

You can get these from mytyres.co.uk for 96.20 each which includes p+p/

You can also see the test rating on there which if accurate makes it a better than average tyre, perhaps not in the Conti, Michelin mould etc but still good for the cost.

I have just gone through a set and had no problems at all.However on camskill atm is a set of avon zz3,which i have just put on.They seam to be a tad better if im honest and only a few quid dearer.

But as said the falkens are a cracking tyre for everyday use.

The moment there is a slight bit of precipitation in the air my budgets are so poor its ridiculous. On a scale of 1-10 how do you rate the Falkens in the wet? Most online reviews seem to rate it quite reasonably...but i can't be sure that's actually an independent opinion.

I have Rage wheels and have falkens on the back, no problems here.

I ran Falken 452's on the front of my ST as well and they were better than the Conti 2's that were factory fit. Good performance in both wet and dry. The worst tyre I ever bought was a Toyo PX4 for my Leon FR, they were dangerous in the wet and average in the dry - never again!

Saying all this about the Falkens though, I'll still be looking for alternatives when I next buy, simply for the reason that they offer no rim protection at all. Obviously this is a worry when they are such a low profile!

The T1R has been discontinued though think they have been replaced by the T1 Sport or something...

Sorry , got mixed up here, was thinking 18's.

Old girl's got a Saab 93 Aero Verti, got the tyres for that from Neo Bros Herts who are a Saab parts specialist. They are sole importer for an Indonesian Tyre, Neuton.

Found this to be a very good, quality tyre, worth a look perhaps.

This size would be from the NT5000 series if anybody wants to check website.

19" size avail would be : 245/35/19 93W with rim protection ; 97.20 each
